Dental hygienists are white-coat wearing, getting in-between the teeth, cleaner-uppers and masters all things dental. Dental hygienists clean teeth and teach customers how to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Dentists examine teeth and gums. They correct dental problems by filling cavities, pulling teeth, and treating dental diseases. Most are general practitioners.
